ACAPS, Bank Al-Maghrib and AMMC publish the 12th edition of the Financial Stability Report for the 2024 financial year.
Through this communication, the financial sector authorities aim to provide the public with a cross-sectional view of the situation of the Moroccan financial system and the risks likely to affect it, as well as an analysis of the main economic and financial trends.
This report is divided into four chapters, which respectively cover:
- The main macroeconomic developments at the international and national levels, the associated risks and their impact on the Moroccan financial system;
- Changes in the financial situation of non-financial agents (households and businesses) and their ability to meet their obligations to the financial system;
- An assessment of the soundness and resilience of financial institutions, through an analysis of key indicators and stress test results, as well as the risks associated with the banking, insurance and pension sectors;
- Developments in the capital market and market infrastructure, with an emphasis on assessing the major risks to the stability of markets and systemically important infrastructure.
These chapters are preceded by a general summary, which provides an overview of the assessment of the financial sector's situation and the associated risks.
