Integration of ESG factors: ACAPS continues to support the insurance sector

As part of its project to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into the supervision of the insurance sector, the Supervisory Authority on Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS), in partnership with FSD Africa and the Moroccan Insurance Federation (FMA), is organising a training and awareness-raising session for market participants on 1 and 2 April 2026 in Casablanca.

Launched in November 2025, this project aims to strengthen the consideration of ESG issues, in line with national guidelines on sustainable development and international standards.

This session, which brings together participants from the sector, the FMA and ACAPS, represents a key step in capacity building. Over two days, it offers theoretical input and practical workshops focusing in particular on climate risks, sustainable taxonomies and reporting requirements.
