The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) closed the first edition of the
Emergence Program on Thursday, October 16th, 2025, in Casablanca, in the presence of various professionals from the insurance ecosystem.
This program, which began in April 2025 and is dedicated to promoting innovation and digital transformation in the insurance sector, has brought together market players around a common goal: to modernize the sector and develop concrete solutions adapted to the operational realities on the ground.
The Emergence Program has been based on a participatory approach involving insurance companies, intermediaries, insurtechs and technology experts.
The work carried out over the last few months has resulted in the design of concrete use cases illustrating the market's potential for innovation. These include the modernization of insurance product development, the digitization of the underwriting process, the implementation of intelligent assistance tools, the simplification of online distribution, and the pooling of health and auto claims management systems.
These proposals aim to streamline customer journeys, simplify exchanges between stakeholders, and enhance process transparency, while ensuring compliance and protection for policyholders.
It should be noted in this regard that the insights gained from this first edition highlight the importance of adopting a collaborative approach based on sharing expertise and seeking common solutions that promote competitiveness and trust.
