The supervisory authority of insurance and social welfare (ACAPS) and the Banque de France signed a cooperation agreement on Monday, November 17th in Paris, aimed at strengthening their financial education initiatives.
This agreement is part of the ongoing efforts by both institutions to enhance financial literacy among the general public. Beyond the development of educational materials tailored to the needs of different audiences, the cooperation also establishes a framework for regular exchanges on educational practices, national strategies, and tools used to strengthen citizens' financial autonomy. It should be noted that this initiative bolsters ACAPS's missions in terms of protecting policyholders and financial education.
This initiative is part of the Authority's ongoing efforts to develop citizens' ability to understand and demystify financial concepts related to insurance and social welfare, allowing them to make informed decisions and better understand their rights and obligations in this area.
