Participation of ACAPS at the IAIS committees meetings

The Authority took part to the June 2020 meetings of the committees of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS).

A number of topics were on the agenda of the IAIS Executive Committee (ExCo), including the Member Assessment Program (MAP) of the Kingdom of Morocco.

The IAIS is the international organization that sets standards internationally. As such, it defines the requirements applicable to the supervision, operators and functioning of insurance markets. It also assists in their application and implementation across the various member jurisdictions. The IAIS is a member of the Financial Stability Board.

The Authority participates actively in the IAIS. It is a member of the Executive Committee, representing the MENA region, a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and of the Implementation and Evaluation Committee.
