The supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare ( ACAPS) is taking part in the thirteenth edition of “Global Money Week”, which will be held in Morocco from 7th to 19th April 2025, under the theme "Think before you follow; wise money tomorrow". This year's event highlights the challenges of access to reliable financial advice to ensure that everyone can make informed decisions.

To mark the occasion, ACAPS is working to raise awareness among the general public, particularly young people, of the importance of insurance and social security. This year, ACAPS is highlighting the theme ‘Insurance and social security: why should young people care now?’ to encourage early awareness of the need to anticipate one's financial future and guard against potential risks.

As financial education is an essential component of financial inclusion and consumer protection, ACAPS has planned a number of awareness-raising activities to reach a wide audience:

- Participation at the International Student Forum in Casablanca, from 10th to 13th April, in order to discuss with pupils and students and raise their awareness of the essential role of insurance during their academic career.

- The launch and distribution of the insurance education kit ‘Un étudiant averti’, designed to help young people better understand the fundamental principles of insurance and its role in protecting them against the risks of everyday life.

- The organization of the fourth edition of the interactive game ‘Ach Kat3ref m3a ACAPS’ which is available on the Authority's Facebook page https://web.facebook.com/acapsetvous . This game allows young people aged 18 to 35 to test their knowledge of insurance and social welfare, while offering them the chance to win rewards via a prize draw.

- Broadcasting an awareness-raising program to explain the issues relating to savings and retirement to the general public.

- Running seminars on insurance and social welfare for students.

Global Money Week, a worldwide financial education campaign

ACAPS' Global Money Week activities are organized in partnership with the Fondation Marocaine pour l'Éducation Financière (FMEF) and are fully in line with ACAPS's mission to promote financial education in its areas of expertise.

Initiated by the OECD's International Network for Financial Education (OECD/INFE), this global campaign aims to raise young people's awareness of financial issues and provide them with the knowledge, skills and reflexes they need to make informed and responsible decisions.
