ACAPS launches the Emergence Program to support the digital transformation of the insurance sector

On Thursday, April 3rd, the Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare ACAPS launched the Emergence Program, aimed at fostering exchange, stimulating creativity, and promoting a shared vision to support the digital transformation of the insurance sector.

This program is built on a collaborative approach, bringing together various market players to engage in strategic and operational discussions. Its objective is to identify innovative and high-impact use cases that will contribute to the sector’s development.

Through a series of workshops held between April 7th and May 30th, discussions will be enriched by contributions from international experts and the analysis of real-world case studies. The goal is to provide industry stakeholders with a structured platform for strategic reflection, supported by technology experts who will help model use cases into simplified prototypes.

By facilitating dialogue between experts and industry players, the Émergence Program aims to strengthen synergies and foster a collective reflection on the challenges and opportunities of technological innovation. As such, it represents a forward-looking initiative designed to support and anticipate market changes.

Through this initiative, ACAPS reaffirms its commitment to proactive oversight, supporting the sector’s transformation while ensuring a fair balance between innovation, competitiveness, and policyholder protection.

This unit reflects the Authority’s commitment to modernizing Morocco’s insurance and social welfare sector. Its formation addresses the need to anticipate market developments, increasingly shaped by the rapid expansion of digital technologies and their impact on business models and consumer expectations.
