Official Visit of the President of ACAPS to the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS)
The President of the Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS), Mr. Abderrrahim Chaffai, conducted an official visit to the headquarters of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS). The IAIS is the global body responsible for standardizing insurance supervision.
During his visit, Mr. Chaffai met with Mr. Jonathan Dixon, Secretary General, and the executive team of IAIS.
The visit focused on IAIS's strategic directions and its ongoing activities and projects aimed at improving supervisory practices globally.
Additionally, the discussions also covered the role of ACAPS within IAIS, where ACAPS holds several mandates, including Vice President of the Executive Committee, and its commitment to being a regional leader.
