The Authority launches an e-learning training platform for insurance intermediaries

The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) is launching E-Wassit Taamine, an e-learning training program for insurance intermediaries.

This project comes within the framework of the actions to support the actors of the insurance sector carried out by the Authority, in particular insurance intermediaries.

Deployed as of Monday, January 25, the E-Wassit Taamine platform offers a training program that aims to strengthen the skills of intermediaries in order to promote the development of their activity and enhance the protection of insured parties.

Developed in partnership with the International University of Rabat (UIR), a leading academic player, the E-Wassit Taamine program has been structured around high-level pedagogical engineering covering current topics, practical cases and teaching capsules developed by insurance experts.

In a participative perspective, the Authority has involved insurance intermediaries in the implementation of this project in order to identify their training needs and adjust the content of the platform accordingly.

Free and open to all insurance intermediaries (more than 2,100 beneficiaries), the E-Wassit Taamine program covers six themes:

  • Environment and regulation;
  • Intermediation;
  • Property insurance;
  • Liability insurance;
  • Personal insurance;
  • Takaful insurance.

At the end of this program, the beneficiaries will receive a Certificate in Insurance Intermediation.
